Switzerland and Malta
Relations between Switzerland and Malta are handled by the Embassy of Switzerland to the Holy See, which manages diplomatic, economic and cultural relations between the two countries. Consular matters are handled by the Embassy of Switzerland in Rome/Italy. Switzerland also has a Consulate General in Valletta, which can provide assistance to Swiss nationals travelling through the country who find themselves in difficulty due to illness, accident or theft, for example.
